What does the word Carnivalistas mean?

The word Carnivalistas refers to people who play music, or take part in Carnivals. The Samba rhythms we play are based on traditional Brazilian percussion rhythms, as can be heard at the world famous Rio Carnival in Brazil each year.

What is a Chocalho?

Chocalho is a metal samba shaker  a fundamental element in the flavour of a bateria, and also has an important function
in helping the caixas to sustain the rhythm.
